 | DANīs Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries Provider Course was designed to fill the void in oxygen first aid training available for the general diving public. This course represents entry level training designed to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public in recognizing possible dive related injuries and providing emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services (EMS) and/or arranging for evacuation to the nearest available medical facility. In DANīs most recent dive accident record, less than 33% of injured divers received emergency oxygen in the field. Few of those received oxygen concentrations approaching the recommended 100%. DAN and all major diving instructional agencies recommend that all divers be qualified to provide 100% oxygen in the field to those injured in a dive accident. This Just In: The DAN O2 Provider course is now available ONLINE!! You can complete all of the academics at home in front of your computer, then come in for the final exam and a short hands-on session learning to use the O2 kit. The cost is just $65.  | PADI Enriched Air Diver: Enriched Air Diver is one of the most popular specialties. Enriched Air, or Nitrox, is a superior breathing gas to regular air that allows divers to dive longer or with lower risk of decompression sickness. The Enriched Air Diver course consists of some independent study, and an evening of classroom instruction. There are no required open water dives, though you can choose to make an optional training dive.

| PADI Equipment Specialist: The Equipment Specialist course is designed to give you the knowledge to properly maintain your dive gear. We'll cover general preventive maintenance on all the items in your kit, and we'll also cover troubleshooting your life support gear as well as some simple field repairs that you can make. While this is NOT an equipment technician class, you'll definitely come away with a much better understanding of just what's going on inside the 'bubble machine'.
