The PADI Advanced Open Water course is the next step for divers with Open Water certification. There's some independent studying, a short classroom session, and 5 Adventure Dives. You'll make an Underwater Navigation dive, a Night dive, a Deep dive, and two Elective dives. You can choose the Adventure dives for your Electives from most of the specialty dive topics: Boat, Drift, Enriched Air, Dry Suit, Underwater Photography, Diver Propulsion Vehicle, Search & Recovery. And don't forget, each of the Adventure Dives that you make during the Advanced Open Water course can be counted as the first dive toward the associated Specialty certification!
