The purpose of the Altitude Diver specialty course is to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of diving at altitudes between 300 metres/1000 feet and 3000 metres/10,000 feet using the Recreational Dive Planner.
